While students may be familiar with paper and pencil hundreds charts, it takes it to a whole new level to do it digitally. Students will really master the toolbar in whatever program you use. The activity has them filling 100 cells in a table per design, making it a mastery activity.
Teacher Prep:
- Plan how you want to share the file with your students. I’m providing the Google Slides file link (on page 3) but you can also use this as a PowerPoint file. Using Google Classroom makes it really easy, but any learning management system can be used to send the file to students.
- Make a finished example if you think your students need one. I didn’t include answer keys.
- Decide whether or not to have students do slide 11, which has a place to type what they think each design is.
