I have been using this in a video message with my students each week as they learn from home. I record myself reading the discussion prompt and then send to my students via Seesaw or Flipgrid. The kids have really enjoyed commenting on the quick little discussion quesitons – warms us up before our lesson!

This resource has helped me get some great conversations started with my students. I have used them for whole group discussions, as well as private exit tickets where responses are only shared with me.

This is such a great resource! I never have anything prepared for when our internet is down but still have to have my computer lab classes and these discussion cards came in handy. It would be a great resource to use in student groups as well where each group gets a card or two to discuss and then they share it with the class or have to create a skit acting out each situation and what they would do.

After teaching my digital citizenship unit, I gave each student 2 different prompts to write all they knew about that topic. I used their responses as an assessment grade. the prompts were very thought provoking and relevant. Thank you

Used this two different ways One was a Kahoot game, and the other set up groups of two students, and they wrote a text response to them.
