What is included:

  • For the teacher, there is a teacher guide with ideas and restrictions on how to share the PDF with your students.
  • For the students, a clickable PDF work mat with 6 hyperlinked buttons that lead to the web pages that the digital flashcards are hosted on (pages are on my curriculum website but no login is needed for these).

How to use with students:

These binary code letter and number digital flash cards make a great early finisher activity. They are also great for stations, coding lessons, to leave for a sub, or any time you want to challenge your lower elementary students.

They are set up with the flash card on the left and the binary code converter key on the right so the key is always visible for students to reference. With practice students will start to identify the pattern in the key and get pretty quick at it!

For grades k-2 students these are great typing practice. Students will find the letter or number on the decoder, type it into the field, and check their answer. This is a mastery activity so students can complete it as many times as necessary.

What devices can these activities be used on?

ANY! That is what makes these activities so special. Use a desktop, laptop, or tablet with ANY browser.
