Description
Students learn about how RGB and Hex color coding works with a quick lesson and then 10 printable technology themed mystery picture worksheets. Perfect for an offline activity!
Introduce Hex and RGB with the Hexadecimal Colors Explained poster. Optionally let them explore the linked site (or explore it together as a whole group). It is fun for the students to call out random hex codes and see what colors they make.
Decide if you want to print a few of the converter sheets or display it digitally to save paper. If you do print them, I recommend laminating or putting in a page protector for longevity.
For the worksheets: Students fill in the hex codes based on the converter. Then they color in the grid and reveal a mystery picture. Answer keys are provided for you.
