Teacher Directions:
The objective of this game is to reinforce students’ understanding of various technology-related terms. It’s a fun way to review vocabulary!

Materials Needed:
Computer Parts Memory Match (one set per group)

Rules & Setup:
Decide on which memory match set you will use, depending on the age and ability levels of your students. Divide the class into small groups of 3-4 students. Each group will be given a set of memory cards. The goal is to match the most correct pairs of terms.

Playing the Game:
Have each group lay all of their cards upside down in an array. On each turn, a player must try to make a match of a word/picture or word/definition. If the player makes a match, they get to pick up those cards and take another turn. If they do not make a a match, it is the next players’ turn. During the game, encourage students to discuss the terms with their peers if they are unsure. The game ends after a predetermined time or after all of the cards have been matched.

After the game, take some time to review the terms and concepts covered. Use this as an opportunity to reinforce learning and address any questions that may have arisen during the game.

ISTE Standards Addressed:
