I gave each student a copy of this resource with a label that included their log in information. Students used colored pencils to locate the keys that they would need to type their user name and password and familiarize themselves with the keyboard. Excellent resource!

I used this resource in a variety of ways. First, I loved that the Chromebook keyboard was included, because my students use Chromebooks. I printed twenty-three colored Chromebook keyboards and laminated them for my classroom. Students use them all the time to practice the keyboard. I also printed the blank copy and had my students color it in. Thank you!

This has been a huge help for my students. I recently covered my student laptop keys with non-see through skins to help them practice their typing skills. Students now use the printable keyboard page as a reference to make sure they are typing the correct letters. I’m so glad I have this for my students! They use it everyday!

I have used this resource every year to teach the fingering for touch typing. My students always enjoy the coloring part, and then we practice “typing” with our hands in home row position on the colored keys. I have also paired this resource with stickers that they color to match the keys and place on their fingernails before they practice with it. It’s a great resource!

I used this along with Brittany Washburn’s resource, Keyboard Basics. It was so helpful and my students seemed to enjoy it. Thanks!
