Description

This resource works on so many great technology skills. While students may be familiar with using snap cubes (or counting blocks or whatever you call them) to make designs, it brings the skill to a whole new level to do it digitally. 10 School Theme designs in 4 different levels for differentiation between grade levels k-5.

There are 4 levels for each design.

•Level 1 is the easiest and only includes the colors of that specific design. There are multiple of each color snap cube layered over each other so students shouldn’t have to copy/duplicate the cubes to make the full design. There is also a grid over the design to help students place the blocks.

•Level 2 is the same as level 1 except no grid and less layers of the snap cubes.

•Level 3 brings in extra colors and students will have to copy/duplicate the blocks as only a few are layered.

•Level 4 has only one of each color snap cube

What teachers said on TPT

Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 38 teachers on Teachers Pay Teachers.

“This resource has been a HUGE hit in my K-7th grade STEAM innovation lab. I have used it with 5th-7th grades and some have begged to finish it for homework. I had a 7th grader even tell me it was fun, which was a huge win. I have been using it to teach iPad responsibility, Google Slides skills, amongst other things, before we get into bigger projects. It has been fantastic!”

— Cierra R., TPT review

“I love these, and so do my students! I was able to differentiate between grade levels AND classes, so that was an added bonus. They enjoyed making the shapes and were challenging enough that they did not get bored of it. Thank you for a meaningful STEM technology resource!”

— Learning Over Lattes, TPT review

“Fantastic resource! I love the levels provided because I have students at those levels and I can assign the same set of tasks to every student at the level of difficulty that fits their needs. Great for visual discrimination! You do a wonderful job explaining how to copy and paste the blocks as well! Very teacher friendly! Thanks!”
