Description

Have you been wanting to create a Google Site for your technology classes but you are procrastinating because you know it is so tedious? Then this is for you! This product includes a website template for grades K-5 computer lab classes made in Google Sites. You’ll make a copy of the website template and then be able to make it yours by adding your lesson content to the pre-built pages.

I did all of the tedious page creation and linking so that you don’t have to! This was about 6 hours of work that you can now spend doing something more important. There are 8-10 unit pages for each grade level (k-5). Each grade level also has one page with 8-12 numbered buttons which are linked to the individual unit pages. This makes it so that you can have students navigate either the numbered page or the website menu. I’ve also included extra number tiles in case you want to add more units. One Extras page template and one Sub Plans page template are also included.

If you would prefer a weekly format (instead of units) then click here.

Each lesson page contains placeholders for:

  • Standards and I Can Statements
  • Do First/Warm Up activity
  • Main Activity
  • Early Finishers

Instructions for the teacher include:

  • How to make your own copy of the site template
  • Steps for getting started such as adding your own information, changing the theme colors, adjusting the navigation, etc.
  • Where to find Google Sites tutorials (this does not come with tutorials)
