Breakout edu
Breakout Edu is a really cool program that includes a physical kit that turns lessons into an escape-room-like game. The physical game kit from Breakout Edu can be expensive, so they provide links to purchase items to create your own kit. Breakout Edu has over 200 games and lessons already created, but you can also create and customize your own games.
There are different kits for different age groups to allow teachers to cater to students of all ages and levels. The goal of Breakout Edu is to foster curiosity in students. It’s great to use at the beginning of a unit to introduce a topic or at the end of a unit for review.

There are all kinds of activities you can do with Breakout Edu. Students can create their own games or use teacher assigned games.
Team Building
Use Breakout Edu at the beginning of the school year to foster team building within your classroom. Students will be forced to work together to solve the game and will get to know each other at the same time.
Student-Created Math Game
Have students, in groups, create a math activity using breakout Edu, and have each group solve another group’s game.
